Til Gud Ke Ladoo Recipe

Dry the washed til (sesame) well in the sunlight. When it gets completely dry, take a vessel and heat it on a medium flame. When it gets warm, then put til (sesame) and continuously stir it well. Fry it until it becomes pink in colour. After roasting the til (sesame), turn off the gas and take out til (sesame) in another vessel.

Now add jaggery in a pan, put a half cup of water in it and keep it on a medium flame to cook gently. When the jaggery gets completely melt then slow down the flame. Put the roasted til (sesame) in a cooked jaggery syrup* and mix it well. When the jaggery syrup and roasted til mixes well, then begin the work of making the ladoo. To make a ladoo, apply the ghee on hands and make it smooth or apply the water in hands and take a hot mixture of til (sesame) in hand then press them gently to make a ladoo. In this way, til-gud (sesame-jaggery) ladoo gets prepared.

Necessary Ingredients:
Washed White Sesame, Jaggery, Water, Ghee

* To check that the jaggery syrup is prepared in a right way, take a cold water in a bowl and put three-four drops of prepared melted syrup in the water. If the drops of jaggery syrup turn into small tiny balls then it is ready to make the ladoos, and turn off the flame.

** Keep in mind: When the mixture is slightly warm then only prepare the ladoos as it is unable to prepare when it gets cold.
