Ramyug Web series: The Katha of Ramayan (रामयुग वेब सीरीज़: रामायण की कथा)

Ramyug is an Indian web series directed by Kunal Kohli. The series was released on 6 May 2021 on MX player. The series is based on an adaptation of the Ramayan. The first look of this show uses Hanuman Chalisa (Jai Hanuman - Har Har He Hanuveer Ka) in the voice of Shri Amitabh Bachchan.
Story of Ramyug:
The entire story of this Ramyug web series revolves around how Bhagwan Ram, Lakshman and Sita live 14 years away from Ayodhya and cut off their exile. The prince of Ayodhya, Prabhu Ramchandra, won the hands of the beautiful princess Sita at Swayamvar and married her. But Ram, Sita and younger brother Laxman, three had to go to exile for 14 years due to the conspiracy of Kaikeyi, Bhagwan Ram's stepmother.

During the period of exile, the trio roams the forest, during which the king of Lanka, Ravan, kidnaps Mata Sita. Bhagwan Ram, Lakshman and Pavan Putra Hanuman prepare an army of vanar sena to find Sita. Hanuman sets fire on Ravan's Lanka and Ram succeeds in saving Sita. With Ram, Lakshman and Sita returning to Ayodhya, Ram's righteous rule (Rama-raj) inaugurates a golden age for all mankind. Even today in North India, the annual Ramlila Dussehra festival is held to celebrate Bhagwan Ram's ultimate victory of light over darkness.

Star Cast:
It stars Digant Manchale, Akshay Dogra, Aishwarya Ojha, Kabir Doohan Singh and Vivaan Bhathena in the lead roles.

Ramyug is available to stream on the OTT platform MX player from 6 May 2021. This season consists of a total of 8 episodes. Its first trailer was launched on 29 April 2021.
