Naranarayan Dev Gadi, named after Naranarayan Dev, is one of the two gadis (seats) that together form the Swaminarayan sect.
Founder of Nar Narayan Dev Gadi?
Bhagwan Swaminarayan, before his death, established two dioceses, Lakshmi Narayan Dev Gadi (Vadtal Gadi) and Nar Narayan Dev Gadi (Ahmedabad Gadi), based on the Vadtal and Ahmedabad temples respectively, as recorded in the article.

What is the method of appointment of Acharyas for the concerned post?
The method by which future Acharyas are to be appointed is contained in a document called the Desh Vibhag No Lekh. It is not only a legal document that has stood the test of time since its existence, it is primarily an instruction for acharyas but also has specific instructions for ordinary followers.

Ayodhyaprasadji was appointed the inaugural Acharya of Naranarayan Dev Gadi (also known as Uttar Vibhag – Northern Division), while Raghuveerji was the inaugural Acharya of Lakshminarayan Dev Gadi (also known as Dakshin Vibhag – Southern Division). Became an Acharya.

Presently the Acharya of Naranarayan Dev Gadi in Ahmedabad is His Holiness Acharya Shri Koshlendraprasadji Maharaj.
