Chaitra Navratri Dates And Pooja Vidhi?
Navratri comes at an interval of six months every year. Navaratri falling in Kartik month is called Sharadiya Navaratri, while in Chaitra month, Navaratri starting from Pratipada of Shukla Paksha is called Chaitra Navaratri. This year, Chaitra Navratri starts on 30th March 2025, until 7th April 2025.
In Navaratri, nine different forms of Maa Durga are worshiped. Chaitra Shukla Pratipada is also the beginning of the new year i.e. Hindu New Year. You can also get the blessings of these nine days of Navratri by worshiping mata. Know the nine forms of Maa Adishakti.

Nine forms of Maa Durga
❀ After Ghatasthapana on the first day of Navratri, the worship of Shailputri, the first form of Maa Durga, is performed.
❀ There is a law to worship Maa Brahmacharini on the second day of Navratri.
❀ Devi Chandraghanta, the third form of maa Durga, is worshiped on the third day of Navratri.
❀ On the fourth day of Navratri, the fourth form of maa Durga, Kushmanda is worshiped.
❀ On the fifth day of Navratri, Skandamata, the fifth form of Maa Durga is worshiped.
❀ On the sixth day of Navratri, there is a law to worship maa Katyayani, the sixth form of Maa Durga.
❀ There is a law to worship Maa Kalratri, the seventh form of Maa Durga, on the seventh day of Navratri.
❀ On the eighth day of Navratri, the worship of Maa Mahagauri, the eighth form of Maa Durga, is performed.
❀ On the ninth day of Navratri, the ninth form of maa Durga, Siddhadatri Mata is worshiped.

When and how to perform the Kalash Sthapana?
Ghatasthapana Muhurat – 06:02 AM to 10:16 AM
Duration – 04 hours 14 minutes
Ghatasthapana Abhijit Muhurta - 11:57 AM to 12:48 PM
Duration - 00 hours 51 minutes

Kalash Sthapana Method
● Seven types of grains are sown in clay soil in wet earth
● The kalash is placed on an earthenware pot
● A piece of red thread is tied around the neck of the kalash and filled with water.
● Betel nut, flower, durba and coin are put in the kalash with mango leaves.
● A coconut is placed on the mango leaves in the Kalash.
● Preparations are now complete to welcome Devi Durga
● The Kalash is worshiped throughout the Chaitra Navratri period and is removed after nine days and immersed in a water body.
