Snana Yatra (स्नान यात्रा)

Besh is a Sanskrit word, which means dress, costume or outfit. Every day from 'Mangala Alati' to 'Ratri Pahud', the 'Ratnavedi' of Shri Jagannath Temple in Puri is decorated with cotton and silk cloths, gold ornaments studded with precious stones, a variety of flowers and other leaves and herbs to deities goes. Like Tulsi, Dayan, Marua etc. Sandalwood paste, camphor and sometimes precious musk have been used in daily and periodic rituals.

During the anasar period when deities are ill, Kheer bhog (milk rice) is presented to the deities as well as the devotees in the Alarnath temple complex.

Due to religious traditions, the significance of rituals, and practical considerations, the Puri Jagannath Rath Yatra typically does not reach the Gundicha Temple in a single day.

The Mahaprasad, which has been found in the Jagannath temple for centuries, is made by around 600-700 cooks, which is distributed among about 50 thousand devotees.

Rath Yatra is the annual chariot festival of Bhagwan Jagannath, Baladev and Subhadra. They travel on three different Raths and lakhs of people gather to pull the Raths.

The Puri Rath Yatra is one of the world's largest and oldest religious festivals, drawing millions of devotees every year.
