Sri Nirmalananda Mahaswamiji is the 72nd head priest of Sri Adichunchanagiri Math. He is a devoted disciple of His Holiness Jagadguru Padmabhushan Sri Sri Sri Balgangadharnath Maha Swamiji.

Sri Mahaswamiji has mastered both modern scientific and technological knowledge and ancient knowledge. Under the guidance of Sri Guruji, he has established and served institutions ranging from nurseries to graduate and research centers in rural parts of Karnataka and beyond. The Trust is catering to the educational needs of more than 1,30,000 students through its 475 institutions, of which 50 are institutions of higher learning. Around 5,000 students are being provided free education along with food and accommodation facilities.

A temple complex built by the Sri Matha at a cost of about Rs 100 crore, Sri Kshetra Adichunchanagiri is the abode of Lord Kalabhairaveshwara Swamy, attracting lakhs of devotees from different parts of the state and the country. Sri Mahaswamiji T. is the patron of the Kumbh Mela event held annually at Narsipur, Mysuru district. Apart from this, he is also the convener of Hindu Dharma Acharya Sabha (HDAS) and Foundation for Unity of Religion and Enlightened Citizenship (FUREC). He has been continuously delivering discourses on science, religion and spirituality in various conferences in India and abroad.

Sri Mahaswamiji organizes programs like Annual Sri Matha Janpad Mela, Youth Mahotsav, Mass/Women Awakening Programme, Priesthood Training for all communities, Mass Marriage Ceremony, Sarva Dharma Sammelan and Gyan Vigyan Matyankar Mela (JVTM).
