Bhadrapada 2024 (भाद्रपद 2024)

Bhadrapada maas is the sixth lunar month in the Hindu calendar. Which is also known as Bhadra or Bhadrapada or Bhado or Bhadrav. According to the Gregorian calendar, the month of Bhadrapada falls in August and September. In the national civil calendar of India, Bhadra is the sixth month of the year. In Vedic astrology, Bhadra begins with the Sun's entry into Leo and is usually the fifth month of the year.
Importance of Bhadrapada Maas
According to religious texts, special attention should be paid to the worship lessons in the month of Bhadrapada. Dharmashastras and pundits tell that in the month of Bhado one should donate to the poor by bathing in rivers. Worship of Bhagwan Krishna should be done regularly. Tulsi water should be offered to them. One should pray to him. Bhagwan Krishna fulfills every wish sought this month.

Festival of Bhadrapada Maas
There are many special Teej-festivals, fasts, days, auspicious dates in the month of Bhadrapada. Special festivals include Hartalika Teej, Ganesh Chaturthi, Janmashtami, Jain Payurshan festival and Anant Chaturdashi. In this month, on Ashtami Tithi, Bhagwan Krishna was born in Rohini Nakshatra and Taurus ascendant. Therefore, the importance of this month has increased even more. Along with this, Hartalika Teej, Jain Payurshan festival, Aja Ekadashi, Shri Ganesh Chaturthi etc. will also be celebrated this month.
